Hey! I Know You!

How, you ask?

Well, let's see, you've got a full-time job that doesn't leave you as much time to work out as you would like. You probably also have a family that needs attention, as well as a house and yard that need tending to. You might also worry that your "glory days" have passed, or are passing you by, and that your better half, or the opposite sex no longer notice you anymore. 


I know how you feel, because almost all of it applies to me.

I say almost, because while I work full time as a middle-school guidance counselor, have a wife, three kids (and a fish! :-) ) an old house in need of regular "improvement" and a lawn and garden to tend, my wife told me just this week that I look "amazing!" compared to all of the other guys at the town pool that my family goes to. 

You would like to be the best built man or woman on your block, wouldn't you? Wouldn't you also like to show the young "gym rats" or girly girls at the gym that they aren't the only ones who can build a killer body? 

Well, why don't you? 



Someone as hard working and resourceful as you should have no trouble holding your own with them if you just apply what you've learned from the "school of hard knocks" to building giant arms, a big bench press, toned abs and a strong, healthy body! 

Plus, you have me in your corner! 

Ten years ago I was a personal trainer in a big, glitzy, gym; and competing in natural bodybuilding, but I couldn't build as much muscle as I wanted to. 

I didn't figure out the secrets to building more muscle until I was older, married, had a child, and employed full-time. I didn't have time or energy for long workouts, and I certainly didn't have money to waste on expensive food and supplements! 




Despite this, I gained an additional 35 lbs. of muscle compared to my days as a trainer and bodybuilder, tipping the scales to 230 powerful pounds, with arms over 17 1/2"! I also became a regular contributor to Hardgainer magazine, where I specialized in tips for "Average Joes" like us. 
How did I do it? I learned to emphasize the advantages that you and I possess, while minimizing the need for time, energy, and lack of responsibility that we said good-bye to after our single/childless days.


Some of these lessons came through trial and error, other secrets were unearthed in classic training books published before steroids were invented. 

I found thrilling tales of old-time strongmen who built freakish strength without drugs or split workouts six days a week, and packed on muscle mass like there was no tomorrow! 

However, most of my big breakthroughs came after talking to or reading the writing of people who have succeeded in training busy people with real lives. 

One professional trainer taught me what the basics were, and how to be brilliant at them day after day. As a result, I finally began to make progress in strength and size just like clockwork! 

A professional strongman taught me that "There are many things that you can do. You must find the one thing that you MUST do." 

As a result, my time in the gym dropped to HALF what it was previously, and my progress in arm size DOUBLED.
